18 months old today!

Lily is 18 months old today. Today also marks the 9-month anniversary of our family. Going forward, Lily will have been with us longer than she was at the orphanage and that is a really good feeling. To put it simply, Lily is a toddler. She has perfected the art of the tantrum and is not afraid to demonstrate it. She also is talking alot and our new favorite word is "hello" which comes out like "hollow", very cute. Daren's parents have just been to visit us from England for a week. It was nice to have the opportunity for Lily to spend some time with her Nana and Bapa and we're looking forward to traveling to England for Christmas this year. The weather here has been quite warm and Lily has been enjoying spending a lot of time outside. We bought her a new trike to ride around the neighborhood and we've been spending a lot of time at the park where Lily loves to go down the slide (all by herself) over and over again. There are a lot of local fountains for kids to play in and we've done that a few times too. We're looking forward to a fun-filled summer!
