We're getting closer!

This just in from the CCAA (China Center for Adoption Affairs):

"The CCAA has finished the placement of children for the families whose adoption application documents were registered with our office before June 28, 2005."

What does this mean you ask? It means that China surprised everyone by referring almost two full weeks of paperwork (12 days to be exact)! This also means that we stand a slight chance of receiving our referral in July and will most likley receive it in August! In order to get our referral in July, China would need to process 14 days next month...that sounds doable, right! Yippee! This is really great news for us. So it looks like we will be in China in September or October to bring home Lily.

It's going to be a really exciting next few months. Stay tuned for the updates.
